         Amplio Tilesets 2.0
========================================

1. Introduction

Amplio 2 is an isometric tileset made for Freeciv. It evolved from the Amplio tileset and has incorporated some graphics from the excellent Freeland Tileset by Peter Arbor among others.

The tileset is medium size: 96x48

----------------------------------------

2. Notable updates from Amplio

* New hills
* New mountains
* New desert
* New tundra
* New oasis
* New forest
* New snow + transitions
* New water transitions
* Cleanup of water<->land transitions

----------------------------------------

3. Requirements

I have only tested this on Freeciv trunk, but I believe it should work with Freeciv 2.2 and later.

----------------------------------------

4. Installation

Unpack the tarball into your freeciv data directory. The tileset should then show up under Game->Options->Local Client as "Amplio2".

----------------------------------------

5. License

Most graphics are adapted from Amplio which in turn is based on isotrident. Some notable tiles are adapted from Freeland and Battle for Wesnoth. If not otherwise specified all other graphics are made from scratch. See Credits for details.
